Let There Be Hope in Dali Campaign

The Greene family and friends has joined together to support the community of Dali, located in the southern region of Ethiopia in the Dawro zone. We visited Dali in August of 2009 to see for ourselves what the conditions were like for the people. We found overcrowded schools that were literally falling apart, we found people filling their water jugs from dirty ponds and streams, and we found no health care at all for the 75,000 residents of the Dali community. With the help of a Glimmer of Hope and the Dawro Development Association, this project will build 4 school blocks (16 classrooms), 7 spring protection developments, and the first Health Post for the people of Dali. In order to kick off the campaign to transform the community of Dali, our family has committed the first $115,000 towards the overall campaign goal of $297,500. We have been blessed with the opportunity to drastically impact the lives of the people of Dali. Please join us in this opportunity.
